The whole Campus School community has been checking out
our "boomtown!" The kids really did create a Superstar City!!!
As we move deeper into our community unit study, we are learning
about cultures and heritage. This week, students are being asked to
investigate their own cultures, by interviewing some very important and
knowledgeable people - you! As a culmination of our unit, I would love for the
students to be able to "experience the taste" of the cultures that make
up Starlight City, and have a mini "Multicultural Celebration" during
lunch on Friday, August 30. That being said, if you would
like to bring in a special dish, or food from your culture, please sign
up on our Wiki. Be sure to include the name of the dish, and its
origin, as this will help with the curiosity of the students!
