POW + TIDE
Last week, "Super Surfer Girl" came and visited my students, and introduced them to the mnemonic device POW+TIDE, a device they will use all year long to help them prepare for the TCAP Writing Assessment. Then, some of Ms. Smith's "Surfettes" came and taught our class the song, "Everybody Do the...POW / TIDE!" They were totally awesome!!!
It was POWerful learning and POWerful fun!!!
