Welcome to Superstar City! Just like the students in Ms. Brisbane's class in Trouble According to Humphrey, the 3rd Grade Shining Stars have started their own community: Superstar City! The first order of business - the need for shelter. Our budding architects have created blueprints, but now we need your help to create our houses! Feel free to use any and all materials - shoe boxes, milk cartons, cereal boxes - above all, be creative! Here are some examples from past years:
Please have your child bring in their original blueprint, and their new home by Wednesday, August 22nd. I am so excited to watch a bustling city spring up in our classroom!
On another note, we FINALLY made it outside for recess this week!!!
We also started really getting into the "stamina groove" with our reading program, Daily Five!
