Lost Shoe!

If you have looked around the 3rd grade recently, you may have noticed that there are a lot of shoes that have gone missing! The "Lost Shoe Project" allowed students to utilize the first writing trait of the Six Traits of Writing - the main idea. Good writing always has a main idea. It is the main point the reader is trying to make, and should be easy to find. As you can see, this lesson knocked the kids' socks off!

"You don't write because you want to say something, you write because you have something to say."
